On the 30th June 2016 the War Museum Cambodia has reached a new record number of 281 visitors in one day! Since 2013 every month new visitor records have been achieved and therefore the team of the guides has been reinforced with Prem Lim, although the fact that he is young he is still an eye witnesses of the civil war.
We have been able to preserve the war artifacts now presented in the several houses and it is possible to read the complete story of the war from 1953 till 1999 in Cambodia, personal life stories of war veterans, Khmer Rouge leaders, landmines in Cambodia in the museum.
The museum has given the recoilless rifle (after restoration, see photo) a special position in the museum.
It is made possible to make monetary donations and to donate artifacts to the museum. Monetary donations will be used e.g. to continue to make improvements in the museum like buying new stand displays for exhibits. If you are interested to make a donation please visit http://www.warmuseumcambodia.com/donations/.
